CLVU is a Boston tenants' advocacy group that has been active since 1973. For their 50th anniversary, they sought a festive image that celebrated their history and incorporated a series of portraits of people who had been important to their group. The organization has a strong Latino presence and requested two versions, one in Spanish, and one in English.

I devised an image that turned a typical protest into a celebration full of easter eggs that people might recognize. This included portraits, gags and iconography such as old signs, puppets and props used in their activism. The image had to be legible at diverse scales, and elements were provided separately for use in print, social media, and merchandising.
