WHAT IS GRAPHIC FACILITATION?
A scribe, graphic recorder, graphic facilitator or visual notetaker catalyzes conversations by combining text and images. We listen, synthesize and take notes, usually in real time.
Scribing engages multiple modes of learning at the same time. Images, speech and text engage different modes of thinking, fostering engagement, recall and attention.
The result in the room is a more engaged and dynamic event. And once the discussion is over, you have a conversation-starting take-home image for your presentations and internal documents, to print for your physical spaces, or to use in your marketing and social media.
The work takes many forms. This can be analog - using markers and board - or digital, within the room or via zoom. We can lead the conversation, or be a fly on the wall. We can help you figure out how graphic facilitation fits best into your event.
